Salad Recipe – Mayonnaise-Free Tuna Salad

A nice evening meal during the hot summer. Serve on a bed of lettuce if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) can water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
  • ⅓ cup chopped celery
  • ⅓ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons sliced black olives
  • 3 tablespoons sliced green olives
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon dill weed
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix tuna, celery, Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, black olives, green olives, green onion, and cilantro together in a large bowl. Beat olive oil, lime juice, lemon juice, garlic, dill, salt, and pepper together in a separate bowl; drizzle over the tuna mixture and toss to coat.
